As a public health consultant specializing in HIV prevention, sexual and reproductive health, and health systems strengthening, I have led and contributed to numerous regional and national programs. Below is a selection of key projects and deliverables that reflect my expertise and impact.
Highlighted Projects / Key Engagements

I led the national PrEP pilot program in Indonesia from 2020 to 2023, beginning with the development of the country’s first PrEP pilot implementation guidelines, which were officially launched by the Ministry of Health in 2021. This involved managing a multi-stakeholder consultation process, ensuring the guidelines reflected both international best practices and the local context. Following the launch, I coordinated the implementation of the PrEP pilot across selected provinces, overseeing capacity building, service delivery integration, and community engagement.

I led the development of national guidelines for pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) in Indonesia, working closely with the Ministry of Health, WHO, UNAIDS, and key stakeholders to ensure alignment with global standards and the country’s specific needs. This process involved coordinating technical consultations, synthesizing the latest scientific evidence, and integrating feedback from communities, service providers, and policymakers. The resulting guideline serves as a comprehensive reference for the implementation of oral PrEP, long-acting injectable PrEP (CAB-LA), and the Dapivirine Vaginal Ring (DVR), marking a critical milestone in expanding HIV prevention options and improving access for key populations across Indonesia.

Led the comprehensive assessment of condom programming in Indonesia in 2019, which served as a foundational reference for the country’s national HIV prevention strategy. The assessment informed the development of a more comprehensive condom program and directly influenced the strategic positioning of PrEP as an additional prevention tool. Findings from this review became key inputs for both national HIV prevention planning and the subsequent introduction of PrEP programming in Indonesia.

Initiated and led Indonesia’s PrEP (Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis) pilot program starting in 2020, which expanded as a national pilot from 2021 to 2023. Since 2024, I have served as the national lead for PrEP implementation, working closely with the Ministry of Health and key partners to mainstream PrEP as part of the national HIV prevention strategy. I also led the development of the official PrEP Expansion Framework to guide scale-up efforts.

Led the introduction of the Dapivirine Vaginal Ring (DVR) as an HIV prevention option for women in Indonesia. Initiated with a national feasibility assessment in 2022 in collaboration with the Ministry of Health, UNAIDS, and key partners. The work progressed into a pilot project currently being implemented in Papua, focusing on female sex workers as a priority population. My role includes strategic coordination, community engagement, and documentation for future national scale-up planning.

Developed a comprehensive Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) Plan for a DFAT-supported regional initiative covering five countries: Fiji, Papua New Guinea, Indonesia, Philippines, and Thailand. The MEL Plan integrated program logic, learning questions, and adaptive feedback loops to strengthen accountability and program improvement.
